Kris: ‘Igalang natin ang desisyon ng MMFF Rules Committee!’: IKINALUNGKOT ni Kris Aquino ang desisyon ng Metro Manila Film Festival Rules Committee na hindi payagan ang request nila kaugnay ng pagpapalit ng kanyang leading man sa MMFF entry na (K)Ampon. Nahuli raw kasi ng pagsusumite ng letter na may intensyong palitan ni Gabby Concepcion si Derek Ramsay.Isinumite raw kasi ang letter limang araw pagkatapos ng sinet na deadline ng MMFF Rules Committee kaya hindi raw nila papayag ang pagpapalit ng leading man ni Kris. Kung ipipilit daw na ipasok si Gabby sa pelikula ay madi-disqualify daw ang (K)Ampon. Ayon sa Instagram post ni Kris, "Pinalaki po ako to ABIDE by RULES. Hindi po kami ang lead producer ng (K)Ampon. So unfortunately, my return to horror was not meant to be for MMFF 2019..."Gayunpaman matutuloy pa rin daw ang reunion movie nina Kris at Gabby dahil nangako raw si Mother Lily Monteverde ng Regal Entertainment. Letter was submitted August 5 to MMFF COMMITTEE. i have read the suggestions na mag appeal, pinalaki po akong may DELICADEZA, 2 members of the executive committee are friends, 1 is one of my closest friends- kaya hindi ko magawa... tulala ngayon kasi bukod sa hindi tuloy ang isang project na ginusto ko talaga, may ilang milyon din na sagutin kami sa MMFF bond, prod staff, crew, and artists... no blame game, but to clear my name, i was concerned about shooting until we had the approval of the MMFF rules committee, but i wasn’t producer in charge... as i said, #lessonslearned."Dagdag pa ni Kris sa isa pa niyang IG post, "(Corrected Saturday, August 17, 2019) Friday, August 16, was supposed to be a good day.
